CINQUE
The jewels constituting the capsule collection are indeed FIVE. Wearing them is also an invitation to the five chosen gestures that are represented.
These interactions happen more and more through social media and the web, consequently reducing actual and physical contact between people. These jewels, very simple and linear, are designed to help re-establish, that human contact that often needs small daily gestures: looking at, talking at, touching and listening to each other.
The collection is designed to connect two individuals, at the same time each jewel can be worn, as usual, by a single person. This way, the concept of the project does not limit the use of the jewels but, on the contrary, it enrich them of meaning and potential.
CINQUE gioielli, hand-crafted in 18k gold, precious as the gestures representing the real focus of the projects.

CINQUE – Gioielli d’insieme is a capsule collection of contemporary jewels that stems from a critical reflection on how individuals interact nowadays. These interactions happen more and more through social media and the web, consequently reducing actual and physical contact between people. These jewels, very simple and linear, are designed to help re-establish, that human contact that often needs small daily gestures: looking at, talking at, touching and listening to each other.
The collection is designed to connect two individuals, at the same time each jewel can be worn, as usual, by a single person. This way, the concept of the project does not limit the use of the jewels but, on the contrary, it enrich them of meaning and potential. LOOK – collier
The collier is made of two crescent-shaped pipe with a long and thin chain sliding on the inside. These are designed to be placed on two individuals’ nape, connecting them in front of each other.
A hanging ellipsis will invite the two individuals to look at each other.
The two rigid parts, constituting the collier, allow the chain to slide through them and hence to be worn, in different ways, also by a single person.
The collier is deliberately a single piece, with no locked part, which marks a symbolic and physical space inside which you can truly look at each other.
LISTENING – earrings
The earrings, different between them, are both made of two small cone sections. These are a poetical allusion to the “Chinese whispers” game, always connected by a long chain welded at the ends.
One of the two cone sections can be worn in a traditional way. The other, instead, can be placed around the auricle thanks to an arch imitating the anatomic shape.
The two earrings are worn by the two individuals, one each, connecting them, encouraging to more carefully listen.
Also in this case, a single person can wear both modules, laying the chain around the neck.

DIALOG – brooches
The brooches are crafted in the shape of megaphones, originating from a single piece cut in two parts, connected by a long pair of chains. The shape was chosen so to evoke the amplification of the sound of words, to underlying its importance. The brooches are designed so that they can be worn by the same person, or by every person, one
piece each.
TOUCH – ring
The ring is made of two parts welded together: a single ring and a rigid oval bangle. The welding allows to completely eliminate any physical distance between the individuals, encouraging to physical contact, to holding hands.
This jewels, amongst the most evocative of the collection, can also be worn by a single person as a ring or as a bangle.
EMOTION – bangles
The bangles, two rigid half-moons that, if drawn close, compose a circle, are the only elements not physically bounded to each other. Because emotions and feeling can be felt not only when being near each other, as instead requested by the other jewels of the collection.
In our little studio, various ideas arise and meet the charm of craftsmanship. With deep passion and perseverance, we create jewels that enclose and tell all the love we have and feel for our job. To physically touch the materials and to be able to create, starting from the project the final product is both a need and a passion. The manual skills, which always belonged to both of us, has found its highest expression in the creation of jewels, that, for us, are containers of emotions and stories, tales.
